Front Office Coordinator / Customer Service Representative

Harmon’s Audio Visual is a dynamic and growing audio-visual company with a dedicated team of 20+ employees. We specialize in providing high-quality audio-visual solutions for various events and installations. We are currently seeking a front office coordinator to join our team.

 

Job Summary:
The Front Office Coordinator is responsible for managing daily front office operations, including answering phones, greeting customers, assisting with simple rental transactions, and supporting walk-in sales. This role plays an important part in creating a professional and welcoming experience for our customers while ensuring inquiries are directed efficiently to the appropriate team members.

The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, comfortable handling payments, and thrives in a fast-paced small business environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate team members
  • Take clear and accurate messages for sales, rentals, and service inquiries
  • Greet and assist customers entering the office in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Provide quotes and process simple rental orders received by phone or in person
  • Assist customers on the small retail sales floor 
  • Process customer payments via phone and in person using company payment systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office and sales area
  • Provide general administrative support as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service, receptionist, or front office experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Basic computer skills and comfort learning new software systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a small business environment
  • Comfortable handling payments and customer transactions
  • Interest or familiarity with audio-visual equipment is a plus but not required
